Introduction
- SPDY PARCEL is an online parcel booking platform that provides users access to multiple courier services at competitive rates.
- By using SPDY PARCEL, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, you should refrain from using our services.
- SPDY PARCEL acts as an intermediary between users and courier partners and does not directly handle parcel delivery.
Account Registration & User Responsibilities
- Users must create an account to access SPDY PARCEL services
- Users are responsible for providing accurate personal information and maintaining account security.
- SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in fraudulent activities, misuse of the platform, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.
SPDY Parcel Top-Up System & Balance Usage
- Users may top up their SPDY PARCEL account with prepaid credit to book and pay for delivery services offered via the SPDY PARCEL platform. The top-up credit is strictly for use within SPDY PARCELs system and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or converted into cash.
- SPDY PARCEL operates a closed-loop top-up system. The prepaid credit can only be used to access SPDY PARCELs internal services (e.g., parcel booking, value-added options) and cannot be used for payment with third-party merchants, platforms, or external services.
- All top-up credit is valid for 90 or 180 days from the date of purchase. Any unused balance after this period will expire automatically and is non refundable. Users are responsible for tracking their credit validity. SPDY PARCEL will not send reminders prior to expiry.

- Top-up credit is non-refundable. However, refunds in the form of credit adjustment may be provided only in cases of:
- Disputes related to volumetric weight adjustments with proof.
- Failed bookings due to technical errors on SPDY PARCELs end.
- SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to request proof and review each case before issuing any compensation in credit form.
- Top-up credit is non-refundable. However, refunds in the form of credit adjustment may be provided only in cases of:

- The SPDY PARCEL Top-Up system is not classified as a Stored Value Facility (SVF) under the Financial Services Act 2013. SPDY EXPRESS SDN BHD is not licensed by Bank Negara
- Malaysia (BNM) as an SVF issuer because:
- Top-up credit is only usable within the SPDY PARCEL platform (closed-loop).
- Credit cannot be transferred or withdrawn.
- The system does not support transactions with other merchants or platforms.

- SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to revise, update, or terminate its top-up policy, credit validity, or terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms
Shipping Fees & Pricing Structure
- Shipping fees are determined based on:
- Actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.
- Destination, parcel dimensions, and selected courier service.
- Volumetric Weight Formula: (Height (cm) x Width (cm) x Length (cm)) / 6000
- SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to modify rates based on courier changes without prior notice.
Parcel Booking, Drop-Off & Pickup Policies
- Users must enter accurate parcel dimensions and weight when booking.
- Available shipping options: –
- Drop-Off: Users can drop parcels at the designated courier hub.
- Pickup: Pickup services are available with certain couriers and may incur additional fees.
- Returned Parcels: – If a parcel is returned due to incorrect addresses or failed delivery attempts, additional return charges may apply.
Parcel Weight Re-Measurement & Adjustments
- All parcels are subject to re-measurement by the courier at sorting hubs.
- If the actual weight is higher than the declared weight, additional charges will be deducted from the SPDY Credit.
- Disputes for weight adjustments must be submitted within 48 hours, along with supporting evidence.
Prohibited & Restricted Shipments
- Users must comply with courier and legal restrictions on prohibited items, including:
- Flammable, hazardous, or illegal substances.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives.
- Perishable goods without proper packaging.
- SPDY PARCEL is not responsible for parcels seized due to prohibited content.
Delivery Timeline & Courier Liability
- Estimated delivery times are provided by the courier and are not guaranteed.
- Delays may occur due to customs clearance, weather conditions, or other operational disruptions.
- SPDY PARCEL is not liable for parcel loss or delivery delays after the parcel is handed over the courier.
Dispute Resolution & Claims Process
- SPDY PARCEL assists in parcel loss and damage claims, but final decisions rest with the courier.
- Users must submit claims within 7 days after delivery failure.
Service Suspension & Modifications
- SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate services without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
SPDY PARCEL is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages arising from parcel loss or delays.
- Financial loss due to misdeclared parcels or incorrect delivery addresses.
- Errors in courier tracking updates or system outages.
- Users acknowledge that SPDY PARCEL serves only as an intermediary and final responsibility lies with the selected courier service.
Insurance & High-Value Shipments
- SPDY PARCEL does not provide automatic insurance for parcels.
- Users are responsible for purchasing insurance directly from the courier if needed.
- SPDY PARCEL is not liable for:
- Lost or damaged items beyond the compensation policy of the courier.
- Shipping of valuable goods (e.g., electronics, jewelry, or luxury items) without declared insurance.
Fraud Prevention & Security Measures
SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in:
- Multiple fraudulent claims.
- Suspicious or high-risk transactions.
- Unauthorized use of SPDY PARCELs platform (e.g., automation scripts, bulk account creation).
User Verification:
- SPDY PARCEL may request additional identity verification before approving high-value shipments.
- Accounts flagged for fraud prevention will be restricted from bookings until verified.
Force Majeure
SPDY PARCEL is not liable for service disruptions due to events beyond its control, including:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, pandemics).
- Government regulations, strikes, or trade restrictions.
- Courier company shutdowns or system failures.
In such cases, refunds or claims may be subject to courier policies and not SPDY PARCEL.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
- In case of legal disputes, they will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Service
These terms and conditions outline the agreement between SPDY PARCEL and you, the Sender, regarding the Cash on
Delivery (COD) service. By using SPDY PARCEL’s COD service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Requesting the COD Service
To request the COD Service, you must accurately input all required information into the SPDY PARCEL Sender details, including proper billing and remittance details. SPDY PARCEL may contact you for clarification if any details are unclear or incomplete. SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to refuse COD service or revise fees if the information you provide is insufficient, incomplete, or inaccurate.
2. COD Service Fees
You agree to pay SPDY PARCEL a COD Service
fee for each collection, charged on a per-collection basis. This fee will be
determined by the respective service provider.
3. COD Remittance Process
The standard remittance process for COD collections is as follows:
- Service Provider to SPDY PARCEL: The service provider’s driver will collect the stated COD amount upon delivery of your shipment. This amount will then be processed and remitted to SDPY PARCEL within 5–10 working days.
- SPDY PARCEL to Sender: Upon receiving the remittance from the service provider, SPDY PARCEL will remit the COD amount to you within 24 hours Mondays to Thursdays. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the remittance will be made on the following Monday or the working day if it requested on a public holiday.
4. Withholding of COD Collections
SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to withhold all or part of a COD collection under the following circumstances:
- If you have not made full payment of applicable fees, additional charges, or any outstanding courier charges.
- If the shipment is suspected of fraudulent activity. In such cases, the amount will be remitted to you once you are cleared of any suspicion or wrongdoing.
5. Compliance and Account Information
- You warrant that all bank account details and fund transfer instructions provided to SPDY PARCEL for the COD Service comply with all applicable Anti-Bribery, Anti-Money Laundering, and Countering Financial of Terrorism regulations (the “Rules”).
- SPDY PARCEL reserves the right to immediately terminate or suspend your Delivery Service (including the COD Service) if there is a reasonable suspicion that you have breached these Rules.
- SPDY PARCEL will transfer funds according to the information you provide in the SPDY PARCEL User Dashboard. You agree that all information provided will be true, correct, and accurate.
- You are responsible for securing access to your user account, and any changes to the information provided are your responsibility. All information provided by you will be deemed true, accurate, and correct.
6. Fulfillment of Obligations
SPDY PARCEL’s obligations regarding COD cash collection are successfully fulfilled once the remittance is completed via bank transfer to your provided account.
Referral Scheme and Reward Points
- The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral scheme and the reward points program, including its terms, conditions, and commission structure, at any time and without prior notice.
- Validity and Expiration: Reward points shall expire twelve (12) months from the date they were earned. Upon expiration, points are automatically forfeited and hold no value. Extension of the points validity period is not permitted.
Final Notes
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of SPDY PARCEL services. By continuing to use SPDY PARCEL, you agree to comply with these terms.
